Helping You take care of You

Our History, Our Philosophy
From our humble beginnings of renting a small room in a home day care business in Waukesha,
we now call Calhoun Rd. in Brookfield our home.

Jesse Walters, LMT started BodyWorks Massage with one massage table and a desire to help people heal, and has since expanded to accommodate the ever-growing needs of her clientele. BodyWorks Massage is still growing, and we currently have five therapists on staff to help our clients get out of pain, recover from injury, maintain a productive and healthy lifestyle - and
enjoy life!

All of our Massage Therapists are passionate about you seeing results with massage, but the affects of massage therapy does take time, and can not always happen in just one session. And,
it is vital that you follow your therapist's recommendations for your at home therapy, or as we call
it "your homework". We can only help you if you are willing to put the investment into your body that it needs. Healing (as well as the maintenance of your body) takes time, and with that time,
we are all a team - you, the client, the Massage Therapist, as well as your physician and other medical doctors, and in some cases, your personal trainer, or coach as well.

Let us help you to "be the change you want to see". - Mahatma Gandhi

A little More About Jesse -

Born and raised in Milwaukee, WI (and a little bit of Waukesha too), Jesse's first true passion was art. She graduated from Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design in 1995 with a degree in fine art. Shortly thereafter, she relocated to Chicago for many years before coming back home to Wisconsin. When Jesse stumbled on massage therapy, she knew that this new form of art was really what she was meant to do. Jesse's true passion is to help people to heal, and to understand how to take better care of their bodies. Of course, you can still find her dabbling in the more creative side of art with her son (or messier), and you'll find her artwork adorning the many walls of BodyWorks. But Jesse is keenly aware that her love for art hasn't died, it has only developed into what she has been fortunate to hear many times from her clients, "you are an artist with the body!"
